My girlfriends and I have been participating in Pound since October and absolutely LOVE it & love the positive attitude and drive Sue exudes in every class. She is both a pleasure and inspiration to be around and I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to try something new and fun! My bottom is killing me today, proof that she pushes you to go a little further each week. Thank you Sue for continuing to inspire each and everyone of us....you ROCK!

my name is Mia, I am 10 years old and I have been with suesanity since day 1. Where do I begin, POUND has helped me build up my endurance and my core. I used to be the slowest swimmer before I stared POUND.  Now I am much quicker and stronger.  I look forward to going every week to POUND because Sue's POUND class is the BOMB!  She makes the class have fun and her class goes by so quick. Her music rocks! Can't wait till her next session begins.

I want to lose weight, I want to be skinny, I want to be able to buy nice clothes, and feel good about myself. Those were my constant battles of thoughts that ran through my mind. I was full of goals and ambition to change the way I looked, but never acted. I remember the occasion like it was just yesterday. I approached Suzie with a cry for help to change my image so I could ‘look better’. Before Suzie gave me any feedback or direction towards a better lifestyle, she heard me out. She listened to me talk for an hour with what I struggle with (let’s be honest no one is perfect), what I was confident in, what my diet consisted of, and what I wanted out of life. My mentality seemed to merely focus on a body that in today’s society would classify as ‘ideal’. After hearing Suzie’s feedback I realized I was trying to put myself in an unrealistic world but I had all the right desires to want to make a ‘change’. I remember her first comment to me after her having to listen to me talk her ears off; ‘are you doing this for yourself?’. And that’s when I stopped and reanalyzed my outlook on my image. Why do I want this model figure body and don’t I want to just feel better about myself? She was right – she most often is.  Suzie highlighted the importance of diet and how much impact food and healthy eating has an impression on your daily lifestyle – more than exercising (shocking right?).  She went in depth to ask me about what I enjoy undertaking and what motivates me to be vigorous. Her focus was on my determination to want to change my lifestyle and if I was ready to commit and not give up. She explained to me the rollercoaster effect and how so many individuals struggle with diets and short term weight loss solutions. Overall, she gave me a sense of reality telling me I will have my falls, but it is most imperative to always get back up. It would not be simple, but it is worth the battle. Most important, she was/is my support system during this journey I began. She is there when I struggle with whatever in my life is bothering me, and acknowledges my change in my lifestyle. She motivated me to become who I am today – her push, her drive, and her love for others is what facilitated me to achieve my goals. What most tend to classify as ‘crazy’; her enthusiasm and passion for an active lifestyle is not something you encounter often. I constantly thank Suzie for all she has allowed me to develop within my goals and ability to love myself. As of today, I have lost 100lbs with a natural diet and active lifestyle. Most importantly, I have found confidence and the aptitude to enjoy my own person. I cannot thank Suzie enough for all she has allowed me to gain – and it’s not pounds! I can now share my story with others and allow them to see me as an inspiration; that alone is a feeling one is beyond blissful to achieve. Suzie, without you and all that you have given me, I know I would not be where I am today – and I could not see my life any other way. Thank you for allowing me to find a light and achieve what I once thought was never possible. Pound it baby! Love you always.

Growing up I was always on the chubbier side. I played competitive sports and was always out and active, but I could never shake the excess weight off. 
 When I was about 17, Sue pulled me aside and asked what my goals were and how I wanted to achieve them. Of course in high school everyone was obsessed with how they looked and I knew it was time for me to put some effort into my appearance, and not just to accept the weight I was at.
 At my heaviest I was 260 pounds of miserable. I stopped caring, stopped trying, and ultimately gave up and let myself down. Sue seen this was happening and slowly but surely started motivating me to get back into the grind. It was more than just exercise that I needed to work on, it was a lifestyle change.
 With strength and determination, Sue guided me in a direction that I am forever thankful for. I stopped eating what I was eating, and I stopped watching tv and started getting more active. Whether it be rollerblading or a game of tennis, I never allowed myself to become that dreaded couch potato just because I thought it would be too hard to get to where I am today.
 In just over a year, Sue taught me the skills and the disciplines to jumpstart my weightless goals, and gave me tremendous motivation to start. She showed me I could do better for myself, made sure she was with me every step of the way, and encouraged me to keep going no matter how tired or fed up I was.
 Today, I’m at a much healthier 180 pounds with the confidence I never knew I had. I start my day with a smile knowing that I look good, and that Sue was there to make it possible. 
I don’t know what my weight would be at without Sue, but damn am I happy it is where it is today!
